    Re: Continue to vote Republican

this is EXACTLY what is wrong with America today. We label our selves as either democratic or repubican and it doesnt matter if Adolf Hilter is running we are still gonna vote for him.
Jesus Christ could be running as a canidate and still some Christians wouldnt vote for him because he wasn't a (democrat/republican).

American has to realize that sometimes parties select weak canidates to lead them, but we can't be so blind to think that just because the party we associate with selects someone that they are the best canidate.

True, but at least most have some sort of understanding that you need the average American to survive. At this rate our country is going all to hell over revenge and friendships.

Agreed- but you will notice the number of decisions regarding oil the Family has made while in office? And I don't think it is ALL a squeaking wheel. Whoever is in office is gonna look out for THEIR group that helped them get there. Take the Enron and pension robbery.

I totally disagree for the most part the candidate follows to the tea what the party tells them. Just look when was the last time a Republican presedential candidate had more than one view that didn't fit the normal mold and vice versa for the Democrats.

    Re: Continue to vote Republican

First of all...its not the republicans fault for high gas prices...the democrats are against oil-drilling in Alaska...if we would drill in Alaska...we wouldnt be paying an arm and a leg for a barrel of oil....and yes, I would rather have George Bush in the White House, a man who professes to be a Christian....rather than a man who had an affair in the White House.......When considering on who to vote for....dont ask if they are a democrat or republican...ask how Jesus would vote.

    Re: Continue to vote Republican

Trust me, I believe this gas price crisis that's hitting nationwide is going to be the un-doing of the Republicans in the White House and Congress unless genius Karl Rove finds a way to spin it as the Dems fault. There's basically 3 things people always want either kept as is or improved and that's their retirement, their religious representation, or their taxes. Voters want what's in their best interests. I don't think these elevated gas prices are in America's best interests, and they're of a direct result of Katrina (no one's fault) and the war overseas.

What people haven't fully realized yet is that this gas price hike is going to cause a lull in the economy because of the fact that most people travel to spend their disposable income which greases the wheels of a successful economy. With elevated gas prices, either less will be used and people won't travel as much to spend their disposable income to help the economy, or usage will stay the same or increase, then all of our respective disposable incomes will decline, causing less money to be spent to grease the wheels of the economy. This has far more encompassing effects than "It takes me too much to fill up my gas tank".

    Re: Continue to vote Republican

And what would Saint Bill do differently in this situation?

There's no difference. Republican, Democrat, Whig, etc. And to think that having a Democrat in office would change anything reveals your ignorance of the situation.

    Re: Continue to vote Republican

THEY ARE ALL CROOKS...THEY ARE ALL CROOKS...THEY ARE ALL CROOKS...No matter they care about themselves and not about us...As was said this country goes way to deep in this republican---democrat deal...When are some gonna learn that no matter how you vote your getting taken they Promise you a big hearty T-Bone steak while running then give toy the plain bone with no meat on it after they get the office...It's time we stand against them ALL and I say THEM ALL...Also it's time to bring our men and women home and let those idiots over their take care of themselves...It's time America does for American people and let the rest do for themselves because as you'll see they won't help us like we did them in their times of need.
Take em one at a time and everything else will take care of itself.

    I belong to God Now.

    Re: Continue to vote Republican

IMO that is the number one reason what is wrong with our country. Your christian president is allowing abortion, gay marriage, sodomy, and many other sinful acts under his watch. Let me ask you this question, is it a sin to send troops in to a country that had no real way of endangering us? I'm sorry that I choose the ability to live reasonably over a hope that abortion is stopped. If the republican party would actually stop the things they profess that they will change I would switch party's. As it is they just give Americans false hope over moral issues and scare us to death around election time with terror threats. Funny thing to me the terror threats stopped after the election. I mean between August and Novemeber last year we were constantly recieving them and now all of a sudden it stops? Why? As for Clinton, the man was one hell of a president, what he did wasn't even illegal and the ones who were pressing the charges against him were guilty for the same acts. I'll trade a booming economy, lower gas prices, no war, cheaper college education, lower housing, and living Americans for a leader who likes to have sex. I'd be willing to say that most Americans today have extra-marrital affairs whether they are democrat or republican or what. Is it right? No, but its part of life and we as Americans need to realize that we are all the same and whether its George Bush, Bill Clinton, or me we all think the same.
